Tanya Domi

Tanya Domi served in the U.S. Army 1974-1990, enlisting as an E-1 Private and rising to commissioned officer, achieving the rank of Captain before leaving honorably.  Domi was investigated for being a lesbian on numerous occasions and became a national military activist in the effort to lift the gay ban in the early 1990s as the director of the Military Freedom Initiative at the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. She has been a LGBT activist for nearly 25 years.
